Physician-Supervised Protocols

IV Infusion Therapy

Every protocol developed by board-certified physicians. Every infusion administered by registered nurses in a clinical setting.

Global Apheresis offers physician-supervised IV vitamin therapy in Mill Valley, California. Our protocols range from the classic Myers’ Cocktail IV therapy, the most widely recognized IV wellness infusion, to high-dose vitamin C IV therapy, B12 injections, and our signature Super Albumin infusion, which uses the same medical-grade albumin found in Therapeutic Plasma Exchange.

Unlike mobile IV services and spa-based drip bars, every IV infusion therapy session at Global Apheresis takes place in a clinical setting under the direct supervision of board-certified physicians. Our medical team has decades of combined experience in intravenous and plasma medicine, and our protocols are designed to complement the advanced apheresis treatments we are known for.

Whether you are looking for immune support, sustained energy, deep hydration, or a protocol that bridges between TPE series, our IV therapy menu offers pharmaceutical-grade options at every level, from a five-minute B12 injection to our most concentrated therapeutic infusions.

The TPE Connection

Human albumin is the cornerstone of Therapeutic Plasma Exchange, the treatment Dr. Kiprov has overseen more than 15,000 times. Super Albumin brings the restorative power of this protein to a standalone infusion protocol, accessible without a full plasma exchange series.

B12 Injection

Not every visit requires an IV. Our B12 injection is an intramuscular shot. No IV line, no saline, no chair time. Walk in, five minutes, walk out. Vitamin B12 supports energy production, nervous system function, and red blood cell formation. It is one of the most commonly requested services in IV therapy clinics, and at Global Apheresis it is administered by the same registered nurses who handle our advanced infusion protocols.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked

IV infusion therapy delivers vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients directly into the bloodstream through an intravenous line. This bypasses the digestive system, allowing for higher bioavailability and faster absorption than oral supplements. Common IV vitamin therapy protocols include the Myers’ Cocktail, high-dose vitamin C infusions, B12 injections, and hydration therapy. At Global Apheresis, all IV protocols are developed by board-certified physicians and administered by registered nurses in a clinical setting, not a spa or mobile service.

Most core infusions take 45–60 minutes. High-dose vitamin C (25g) takes 90–120 minutes due to the higher volume and therapeutic concentration. The Super Albumin infusion takes 60–90 minutes. B12 injections are intramuscular and take about 5 minutes. No IV required.

IV infusion therapy is generally well-tolerated. All of our ingredients are pharmaceutical-grade and commercially manufactured. Because our protocols are physician-supervised and administered in a clinical setting with monitoring, we can quickly identify and manage any reactions. A physician consultation is included with your first visit to review your medical history and determine the most appropriate protocol.

No prescription or referral is needed. A physician consultation is included with your first visit, during which our medical team will review your health history and recommend the most appropriate protocol for your goals.

All IV infusion services are cash-pay. We do not bill insurance for IV therapy. Packages and membership options are available. Ask your provider for details during your consultation.

Your first visit includes a brief physician consultation to review your health history and goals. From there, your physician will recommend a protocol. You’ll relax in a comfortable treatment chair while a registered nurse administers your infusion. Many patients read, work, or rest during the session. You’re free to leave immediately after your infusion is complete.

Yes. Our IV infusion protocols are designed to complement Therapeutic Plasma Exchange. The Super Albumin infusion in particular can serve as bridge therapy between TPE series, delivering the same medical-grade albumin used during plasma exchange in a standalone protocol. Your physician can help design a combined approach based on your treatment goals.

G6PD (glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase) deficiency is a genetic condition that affects how red blood cells process certain substances. In individuals with G6PD deficiency, high-dose intravenous vitamin C can cause hemolytic anemia, a potentially serious reaction. A simple blood test screens for this condition before we administer any high-dose vitamin C protocol. This is a standard safety measure at responsible IV therapy practices.
